The must-attend event for green steel pioneers

The steel community will meet at the ecoMetals Day on 21 September 2022 at Messe Düsseldorf for what is probably the most sustainable event of the year. The focus of the trade congress is the green transformation of the industry.

Why the decarbonisation of the steel industry is a joint task that can only be solved in close cooperation with the energy and digital industries will be made clear by more than 25 Green Steel, Green Energy and Circular Economy pioneers in top-class lectures and panel discussions.

Be there! We look forward to meeting you and your colleagues on 21 September at the CCD Ost Congress Centre at Messe Düsseldorf.

The conference language is German.

The "showroom of the energy transition"

Administration of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf

At decarbXpo, Stadtwerke Düsseldorf will present the concept of the EUREF Campus at Stand C30 in Hall 9: an area of over 80,000 square meters where companies, start-ups and institutions that promote climate protection in the energy and transport sectors are to settle. The "Showroom of the Energy Transition" has been under construction since last year and is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2025.

The entire campus will be supplied with climate-neutral energy for electricity, heating and cooling right from the start. For this, the municipal utilities (Stadtwerke Düsseldorf), who will rent space themselves, have developed an integrated energy concept. The core of the district heating supply is an innovative seawater concept for heating and cooling. A low-temperature heat pump will use heat from the nearby Lichtenbroich quarry pond as a regenerative heat source to meet most of the campus's heating needs. Photovoltaic systems will generate electricity, and electric vehicle batteries can be charged at Stadtwerke charging stations.

Stadtwerke Düsseldorf will also present its full range of charging infrastructure services at decarbXpo. From infrastructure, including civil engineering and connections, to the supply of charging stations, wallboxes and e-bike charging stations as well as charging station and fleet management, as well as service: this is how the energy supplier makes electromobility easier for companies.

International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES 2022)

Logo EuroSolar
Energy storage systems are the key to the successful energy transition. For more than 15 years now, EUROSOLAR has dedicated the annual International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES) to this important topic. In three both plenary and parallel sessions of lectures, experts from science, practice, politics and society will focus on the current state of knowledge about energy storage. In plenary sessions, topic-specific lecture series and discussion rounds, around 150 lectures will again be presented, including a large poster exhibition.
