Free forum around decarbonization and energy storage

A unique mix of presentations on industrial and commercial decarbonization as well as storage systems will be offered at decarbXpo's free technical forum from September 20-22, 2022.

Topics range from renewable process heat to industrial hydrogen use and energy management to net-zero factories. Industrial heat and steam will be a focus topic, including the presentation of high-temperature heat storage systems. Another block of presentations will be focused on monitoring and control of energy systems and circular economy.

The use of industrial hydrogen as the main topic of decarbXpo will be addressed both in presentations in the Forum and at the #P2X Conference of the VDMA, which is taking place in parallel, as well as the ecoMetals Day for the metal industry. More info about the decarbXpo program

decarbXpo and the H2UB, Europe's hydrogen start-up hub, are cooperating and offering young companies from the hydrogen sector the opportunity to present themselves at the trade fair event for industrial decarbonization. The H2UB invites start-ups along the entire value chain to apply for a place at the joint booth "Experience H2 Innovation with H2UB".

The founders can present their products and services at the booth and in the decarbXpo expert forum and network. Messe Düsseldorf's extensive industry network gives them access to potential pilot customers, for example from the glass, metal, plastics and paper industries. New filters for highest air quality

Messe Düsseldorf wants its visitors to enjoy a comfortable, but also safe visit to the trade fair and congress. That's why it has equipped the entire trade fair and congress center with 3,000 HEPA filters. The high-performance particulate filters bring clinically clean air into the halls while at the same time reducing heating and cooling energy consumption. They were first used at the "wire and Tube" trade show in June 2022 and will also ensure excellent air quality at decarbXpo.

HEPA filters are used, for example, in operating rooms and intensive care units. Together with the high-performance ventilation systems, voluntary hygiene measures, the extensive grounds and spacious halls, the filters reduce the risk of infection to a minimum. The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection subsidized the investment with 1.4 million euros.
