The German Energy Storage System Association and Messe Düsseldorf realign their cooperation

The Energy Storage System Association e.V (BVES) and Messe Düsseldorf are cooperating again this year. The focus: thermal energy storage solutions for industrial waste heat recovery and for the allocation of process heat.

Dr. Andreas Hauer, Member of the Presidium of BVES & Chairman of the Board of ZAE Bayern: "Flexible sector coupling in the area of process heat only works with thermal energy storage solutions. Here we see a high demand for information among industrial users, which we as BVES would like to meet within the framework of the cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf." 27 percent of all CO2 emissions come from industrial heating and cooling.

VDMA specifies topics of its hydrogen industry summit

From Production to Application: The #P2X Conference

The VDMA conference "From Production to application: The #P2X Conference" starts one day before the trade show begins and is one of the highlights of decarbXpo. At the conference, everything revolves around the industrial market ramp-up of the hydrogen economy. VDMA has now published a preliminary program. Central topics are:

• Electrolysis and other production processes for hydrogen,
• synthesis for eFuels and power-to-liquid products such as ammonia and methanol,
• application in heavy duty transport, shipping and aviation or in the process industries steel & chemicals,
• safety-related issues, transportation and logistics
• as well as the techno-economic assessment of entire supply chains and their business cases in a national and international context.

Trade fair forum as a platform for exhibitors - with a focus on industry and commerce again

The trade fair forum with a user focus already debuted at ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2019 and was a complete success with many attentive listeners. This year, too, there will be special slots for the glass and metal industries, among others, as well as for the trade and other sectors. We invite these via the Messe Düsseldorf network. Our exhibitors will present their industry-specific solutions and reference projects to them in the Forum. Incidentally, visitors to glasstec, which is taking place at the same time this year, can listen to the presentations in the Forum free of charge - a special opportunity for technology and service providers.
