ecoMetals Day – New leading congress parallel to decarbXpo

With the "ecoMetals Day - Pioneers of Sustainability", another specialist conference will be held parallel to decarbXpo on September 21, 2022. The event of the Vulkan-Verlag for the green transformation of the steel and metals industry focuses on the transfer of concretely implementable application knowledge. The focus is on decarbonization, digitalization and circular economy.

The conference topics range from direct reduction via hydrogen and natural gas (DRI), new application potentials of electric arc furnaces and induction crucible furnaces, hybrid heating, carbon capture storage (CCS) and utilization (CCU), digital carbon footprint passport, steel and aluminum recycling and green automation to carbon contracts for difference, energy efficiency through AI and additive manufacturing, zero emission steel and the carbon border adjustment mechanism. Discounted Early Bird tickets for IRES: available now!

Early Bird tickets for IRES conference of EUROSOLAR are now available in the EUROSOLAR ticket store. This year, IRES will take place as a hybrid event: Attendees can listen to the sessions in person at the Düsseldorf exhibition center - and visit the decarbXpo there.

In addition, the conference will be broadcasted as a live stream. IRES offers a unique platform for politics, business and science. In more than 150 plenary and parallel lectures as well as a large number of poster sessions, experts will address the current state of knowledge on energy storage systems, system applications and their future direction. Hydrogen conference on the partner trade show wire & Tube

On the occasion of the decarbXpo partner trade fairs for the cable, wire and tube industry wire & Tube , the hydrogen conference "Hydrogen in Practice" will be held for the first time this year on June 20 and 21. The organizers are the Bundesvereinigung der Firmen im Gas- und Wasserfach e.V. - figawa and Vulkan-Verlag. The technical presentations will address, among other things, process and gas engineering pitfalls as well as conveyance and regulatory aspects of hydrogen ramp-up. In detail, the conference will cover valves and components, gas properties, necessary measurement and control technology, material-specific issues as well as sector coupling and decarbonization.
