ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE - Showcasing new thermal storage technologies

,

Efficient thermal storage is essential to manage the energy shift in the housing sector, but these systems also play an increasingly important role for the decarbonization of industrial processes.

There are a range of remarkable innovations in technology for thermal energy storage that increase industrial efficiency and can even contribute to the optimization of electrical storage. New areas of application such as industrial waste heat recovery or flexible sector coupling require new temperature ranges in order to operate thermal energy storage solutions.

This innovation boost also stimulates the market: “In the past two years alone, the number of thermal storage companies in the German Energy Storage Systems Association (Bundesverband Energiespeichersysteme, BVES) has doubled,” says Dr Andreas Hauer, member of the BVES Executive Board of Directors and Head of the Energy Storage Division at the Bavarian Centre for Applied Energy Research (Bayerisches Zentrum für Angewandte Energieforschung e.V.)

Mirroring this development, ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2021 has decided to highlight thermal storage solutions in a special zone. There is already great interest – the following companies and institutions have registered their participation: Caldoa, Chromalox, DLR, Fenix TNT, Fraunhofer IFAM, Lumenion, PECEM, Plus Advanced Technologies, Rubitherm, Terratech, Wartlow, and ZAE Bayern.

Are you interested in presenting your thermal storage solutions in this special area and benefitting from theme-centered marketing? For details on participation, please have a look at our website. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Meyer-Koca. We are looking forward to your participation!

Kind regards,

Your ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE Team
