, amidst the corona crisis, current forecasts of the EU Commission give fresh impetus: the economic upturn is expected to start as early as the second half of 2020; the EU economy is even expected to grow by more than 6% in 2021! This growth must be supported by massive economic stimulus programs – political initiatives, such as the EU Green Recovery Alliance, demand that these programs combine climate protection and economic growth. Climate-friendly reconstruction is also a main topic at ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE (ESE). Energy storage systems create security of supply, contribute to an increased energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions – this is confirmed by a new study compiled by the EU Commission. From 16 to 18 March 2021, visitors of the ESE can look forward to the presentation of a wide range of innovative storage technologies and their applications in the new hall 1 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. The "Decarbonization Hub" will present climate-neutral industrial logistics, financing of decarbonization measures, conversion of CO2 as part of the "circular economy" and recycling of energy storage systems. Particularly exciting will be the parallel timing with EuroCIS 2021, the leading trade fair for retail technology, in the neighboring halls 3 and 4. The "Who's Who" of the retail industry will visit EuroCIS, finding solutions to questions about energy efficiency and CO2 reduction also at ESE! And in the meantime? Use our virtual showroom to find the right project partners! We will continue to inform you about the latest industry news and about the ESE.
