Top startups present themselves - cooperation with "Plug and Play".

Top-class startups will present innovative methods at decarbXpo in Hall 9, C40 with which industrial companies can reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. This is made possible in part by decarbXpo's cooperation with the innovation platform "Plug and Play Sustainability NRW" and „Wirtschaftsförderung Düsseldorf“. It is the fifth German location of the global innovation network Plug and Play with a total of 50 locations.

Three examples: The Hydroplace platform is a marketplace for hydrogen that includes fully integrated solutions up to demand planning and delivery or collection. Sylvera's machine learning-based carbon rating makes it easier for companies to identify the best and most sustainable projects to offset their emissions. NeoCarbon has developed a method for capturing CO2 from ambient air that is said to be ten times cheaper than previous methods.

The Swiss startup Green Y has designed a compressed air storage system that harnesses the heat generated during charging and the cold produced during discharging. Electroder provides smart solutions for battery design, manufacturing and operation, from evaluating new materials to developing custom battery designs.
